- The owner, operator and associates reserve the right to amend, change, modify or cancel any boat trip at any time. All of our trips are subject to weather, tide and local conditions. Your safety aboard is our primary concern, it is sometimes necessary to cancel a trip. Should we find it necessary to cancel a trip we will call, text or email you to advise your booking has been cancelled and a refund will be issued, please have access to the device you booked on or your given mobile on the day of your trip. Nick accepts no liability for any costs you may incur as a result of cancellation of your booking.
- Cancellation. If we cancel a trip a full refund will be payable. If you cancel a trip with less than 72 hours notice before agreed departure time your deposit will be retained.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the boat is due to depart. No refunds are given if you arrive late, our intention is to depart at the appointed time.
- No liability is accepted for customers’ personal property, effects or valuables during trips. Please do not bring unnecessary or valuable items unless they are insured by your insurer. Any such items coming on board shall be assumed to have been covered adequately by the passenger.
- Safety. You must follow the skippers instructions at all times.
- The owners, operators, skippers or crew nor Nick’s Fishing Trips accept liability for personal injury or injury to others. Passengers participate entirely at their own risk. You are advised hooks and sharp knives, & other potentially hazardous objects are used in the course of your trip.
- All bookings commence at the time agreed. If a trip is booked to start at 9am the clock starts at 9am and will run for the agreed period of time unless the delay is as a result of any actions or omissions by the owner, operator or the skipper on the day. If the boat is delayed we will endeavour to warn you as soon as he becomes aware of the delay where ever possible.
- We reserve the right to take photographs and videos for use in our own publicity. Passengers are welcome to take their own photos and videos. The skipper will seek verbal consent from those whose image may be used before retaining any images.
- Once a boat trip has commenced we will only return to harbour with agreement from all booking parties, or at the discretion of the skipper. Where the trip is by private charter you can decide to return to harbour before the end of your allocated time but no refund will be issued.
- Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dogs are welcomed if booked in advance, you must remain responsible for its actions throughout the trip and advise when booking of any behaviours or risks the dog may pose to people. No liability for injury to your dog will be accepted by the owner operator or the skipper. It is assumed that you are fully insured in relation to your dog and any risk it may present to others, you remain liable for your dogs actions. With respect, our advice is that dogs are usually happier at home.
