Not every trip needs to be a full deep sea fishing adventure. Whether younger members of the group need a shorter outing, or you simply want to get out on the water and take in the stunning Jurassic Coast scenery, we can arrange a trip to suit you perfectly.

Sightseeing Boat Trips

Perfect for families and groups to explore the Dorset and Devon coastline. Escape the busyness of the town and explore the coastal wilderness and wildlife of the Devon Undercliff. Offering a chance to view the Jurassic Coast fossil area by the sea. With an impromptu commentary by your friendly skipper where required. Sometimes the silence is preferable : ) The duration can be variable but 1-2 hours should suffice.

Short Fishing Trips

We can arrange 2 hour rod fishing trips / deep sea fishing by private charter. Shorter boat trips are ideal for families and anyone who just wants to experience Lyme Bay without committing to a longer excursion, this might suit groups where not everybody wants to fish.

We always provide rods, bait and fishing tackle.

Mackerel Fishing

We are currently not offering mackerel fishing as an option.

Mackerel stocks are under serious pressure from industrial fishing fleets.

You may be aware that Waitrose no longer stocks mackerel products. The Marine Conservation Society has red-listed Mackerel. ICES has advised the British government to seriously reduce mackerel catches until the stock recovers. Which hopefully they will soon.
